Once you're at the coast you have easy access to the most spectacular section of the South West Coast Path as it wends its way up and down the highest cliffs of Cornwall, traverses unspoiled beaches and takes you past hidden coves.

Along the Bude Canal
Directly accessible from the farm, this lovely walk takes you down the towpath of the historic canal and into the famous seaside town of Bude with all its many delights.

Bodmin Moor
Steeped in mystery and ancient lore Bodmin Moor makes for an interesting and energetic day out. Climb Rough Tor, explore sheltered, wooded valleys and lunch in traditional pubs before returning to your dog friendly accommodation Cornwall.

Self Catering Holiday Cottages in Bude Cornwall

Enjoy a 20 minute countryside walk across the farm to a dog friendly beach. This is dog heaven!

At Whalesborough we love dogs and are striving to maintain our five star luxurious quality of accommodation while allowing considerate owners to bring their dogs with them.

There are more dog friendly beaches in North Cornwall than anywhere else in the South West. Not all beaches allow dogs all year around but many do - including the huge beach that Whalesborough looks out over.

The most spectacular section of South West coast path is right here beside Whalesborough. You can take your dogs on amazing walks along our beautiful coastline.

Come the evening watch the sunset while you enjoy a friendly meal on the terrace at the Bay View Inn before a light stroll back to the cottages across the farm. Or grab some fresh fish from our local shop and enjoy your luxury five star quality kitchen. If you decide to leave your dog alone in the cottage we ask you to use the large indoor cage provided.
