Our third visit to Whalesborough and it just keeps getting better. Have stayed in 3 different cottages which have all been great. Loved the new pool and facilities, we both had the head massage with Leah - it was excellent. Very relaxing and what a lovely person she is. Lovely walk into Bude along the canal, saw kingfishers, grey Heron and Buzzards! My favourite place was Trebarwith, fantastic beach, loads of rock pools and caves. Don't forget to take home your Whalesborough cheese, we certainly have enough to keep us going. Weather was fantastic, still BBQ'ing at the end of September. Thanks to James and Sharran for making it such a great place to stay.
Wow! We've had a lovely time at Warrens. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and well equipped. The indoor swimming pool is amazing, so glade we had the use of it. Some lovely walks - the canal walk to Bude is so nice and flat, great for a 9 year old on a scooter and a sniffy cocker spaniel! We took the dog on a pedaloe for the first time! Elements Restarant is fab, especially for us, gluten free takeaway pizza yummy! Lovely at the Weir too and all the staff helpful, friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
We booked for 1 week at this beautiful place and stayed for 2! This really felt like home from home. The accommodation is really good, its comfortable, welcoming, superbly presented but also functional. The location could not be better. The walks, especially 'The Hole Walk' has everything, the dogs also think it is pretty good! The canal walk to Bude and the walk to Marhamchurch are a must. The wildlife here is varied and visible. Apart from the vast flock of geese on the lake we've seen buzzards and kingfisher. We are definitely back next year. Already booked!
Sadly another wonderful week at Whalesborough is over. We loved staying in Warrens - home from home (if I'm honest, probably better than home). I'm sure well be back for a 3rd visit and will definitely recommend this beautiful place to our family and friends.
Just a fantastic stay in Warrens. Everything was thought out well and all needs catered for. Really glad to have the pool to cool down in!! We had some great trips to Bude, lovely swim in the sea pool and a coke soda in the Cafe on the corner at the top of the hill near Sainsburys. Padstow worth a visit, great shops and fish and chips! Lovely beach at Rock, white sand, clear water. A good walk for a sunny dayis Lydford Gorge (National Trust) as its through the trees (shade to keep you cool) and ends with a lovely waterfall and devils cauldron!! Great food and excellent friendly staff in the Weir. Thanks Whalesborough team for a great time.
By hook or by crook we are the first in the book.....Warrens cottage has all the mod cons and has been a great choice of quality 5 star accommodation. We have had a really enjoyable stay and would highly recommend Whalesborough cottages. Wonderful walks to the beach and Bude, plenty to do, never a dull moment. James was friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Thank you for our excellent stay - we will be back.....
Another lovely holiday at Whalesborough!! We absolutely love it here, that's why we keep coming back!!! Great place, great cottage, great hols!! Didn't use the leisure facilities, but will next time. The weather was fabulous, so the pull of the beach was to great. Thank you James, Sharran and the staff at the Weir for all your hard work.
