Chapel Park
Interior-designed elegance, bifold doors, and the whole Cornish estate on your doorstep
A newly built two-storey cottage furnished by an interior designer, Chapel Park earns its Five Star Gold award from the first glance. Gloss cream cabinetry, dark granite worktops, an American fridge freezer, and bifold doors to a south-facing garden set the tone — while two sofas, a contemporary wood burner, and a Jacuzzi bath ensure every evening feels like a retreat. W Club spa, pools, and The Weir Restaurant are all included in your stay.
Chapel Park is a thoughtfully planned two-storey semi-detached cottage built to an exacting Five Star Gold standard. The open-plan ground floor centres on a gloss cream kitchen fitted with dark granite worktops, an American fridge freezer, and everything you need for a proper holiday kitchen. The generous living area offers two comfortable sofas arranged around a contemporary wood burner, with bifold doors that open to a private south-facing garden — ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. Upstairs, two beautifully dressed bedrooms each feature their own television, and the indulgent Jacuzzi bath adds a true spa-at-home feel. A cot is available on request, and up to two dogs are warmly welcomed at no extra charge.
Every stay at Chapel Park comes with full complimentary access to the W Club — Whalesborough's award-winning spa and leisure complex. The indoor pool is maintained at a steady 29–30°C year-round, while the outdoor pool (open seasonally) enjoys sweeping views across the estate. Sauna, steam room, and a Technogym-equipped gym complete the picture. When you're ready to eat, The Weir Restaurant serves seasonal dishes built on the working estate's own produce. Over 428 acres of private grounds and trails connect the cottage door to the wider estate and the South West Coast Path beyond.
Whalesborough is a 428-acre working estate on the North Cornwall coast, a few minutes from the surf town of Bude and the wide golden sands of Widemouth Bay. Private trails run from the cottage door across the estate and down toward the sea, and the South West Coast Path is close in both directions — this is the quieter, less-trodden coast: real Cornwall, without the August queues.
At the heart of the estate, the W Club spa, indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool and The Weir Restaurant are all yours to enjoy. Bude has everything you need — proper coffee, good pubs and a chip shop or two worth the walk — while Tintagel, Boscastle and Padstow are all an easy drive when you fancy a day out.
