Medlands is arranged across two storeys, with three bedrooms sleeping six in generous comfort. The ground floor is defined by the open-plan lounge and dining area — a space designed around the bifold doors that open onto the south-facing garden, bringing in warmth and light through every season. The lounge is anchored by a 55” Smart TV and wood burner, while the kitchen comes fully appointed with Bosch appliances and an American fridge-freezer, making the property as practical as it is inviting.
Beyond the cottage door, the full Whalesborough estate is yours. The W Club spa offers an indoor pool held at 29–30°C, a seasonal outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, and a Technogym-equipped gym. The Weir Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch with produce from the working estate. The grounds extend to 428 acres of Cornish countryside, and Medlands is dog friendly — up to two dogs are welcome at no extra charge.
Whalesborough is a 428-acre working estate on the North Cornwall coast, a few minutes from the surf town of Bude and the wide golden sands of Widemouth Bay. Private trails run from the cottage door across the estate and down toward the sea, and the South West Coast Path is close in both directions — this is the quieter, less-trodden coast: real Cornwall, without the August queues.
At the heart of the estate, the W Club spa, indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool and The Weir Restaurant are all yours to enjoy. Bude has everything you need — proper coffee, good pubs and a chip shop or two worth the walk — while Tintagel, Boscastle and Padstow are all an easy drive when you fancy a day out.
