Middle Hill
Generous open-plan living in a beautifully converted milking parlour — with interconnecting bedrooms made for families
One of the largest living and dining areas in the barn conversion collection — a generous corner sofa, two-seater sofa, and a dining table seating six set the scene. The breakfast kitchen adds a casual bar-stool counter for relaxed mornings, while a contemporary wood burner and underfloor heating keep things warm whatever the season. As guests of the resort, W Club spa, pools, and The Weir Restaurant are all yours to enjoy.
Middle Hill occupies a mid-terrace position in what was once the estate milking parlour — now one of the most spacious living and dining areas among all the Whalesborough barn conversions. A corner sofa and two-seater face the contemporary wood burner, while a solid oak dining table seats six with room to spare. The breakfast kitchen runs alongside, with bar stools for informal mornings. Upstairs, two bedrooms connect directly — a thoughtful touch that makes Middle Hill especially well suited to families with young children. Underfloor heating and exposed beams complete the picture.
Beyond your front door, the full Whalesborough resort is yours to explore. The W Club spa includes an indoor pool kept at 29–30°C year-round, a seasonal outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, and a Technogym gym — all included in your stay. The Weir Restaurant serves estate-sourced menus for leisurely lunches. Private trails lead across 428 acres of working farmland toward the coast, and the whole property is dog friendly — well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout.
Whalesborough is a 428-acre working estate on the North Cornwall coast, a few minutes from the surf town of Bude and the wide golden sands of Widemouth Bay. Private trails run from the cottage door across the estate and down toward the sea, and the South West Coast Path is close in both directions — this is the quieter, less-trodden coast: real Cornwall, without the August queues.
At the heart of the estate, the W Club spa, indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool and The Weir Restaurant are all yours to enjoy. Bude has everything you need — proper coffee, good pubs and a chip shop or two worth the walk — while Tintagel, Boscastle and Padstow are all an easy drive when you fancy a day out.
