As a guest, you also enjoy full access to the W Club spa, heated indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, and the estate's walking trails.
Windy Hills has been thoughtfully refurbished from floor to ceiling, with every room benefiting from the same considered approach to contemporary comfort. The single-storey layout makes it genuinely easy to live in — no stairs, no bottlenecks. Three double bedrooms are arranged around a generous open-plan kitchen-diner and living room, and the patio doors from the sitting area open directly onto the enclosed private garden, blurring the boundary between inside and out on any day the North Cornwall weather obliges.
Steps from the front door, The Weir Restaurant serves seasonal menus rooted in the working estate. All guests also enjoy complimentary access to the W Club spa, with its indoor pool held at 29–30°C, seasonal outdoor pool, sauna, steam room and Technogym gym. The estate's private trails lead out across 428 acres of Cornish farmland toward the sea — and dogs are very welcome throughout.
Whalesborough is a 428-acre working estate on the North Cornwall coast, a few minutes from the surf town of Bude and the wide golden sands of Widemouth Bay. Private trails run from the cottage door across the estate and down toward the sea, and the South West Coast Path is close in both directions — this is the quieter, less-trodden coast: real Cornwall, without the August queues.
At the heart of the estate, the W Club spa, indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool and The Weir Restaurant are all yours to enjoy. Bude has everything you need — proper coffee, good pubs and a chip shop or two worth the walk — while Tintagel, Boscastle and Padstow are all an easy drive when you fancy a day out.
