Bird of Prey Talk and Otter Feeding, Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre
The Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre is just a short drive from the Whalesborough site, and it is well worth making the trip! On your visit to the 21-acre site you will see British & Asian Short Clawed Otters play, eat and sleep in their enclosures. Enter the “Wildwood” and you will see Wallabies, Meerkats, Servals, Polecats and various Birds of Prey. The Bird of Prey talks are at 11.30 & 2.30, whilst the Otter talk and feeding is 12pm and 3pm. Josh Curnow has been recognised as a big contender in the music industry for 2018, thanks to his appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, where he narrowly missed out on the final. Bude & Stratton Folk Festival
Bude and Stratton Folk Festival is a friendly mix of folk events held annually on the late May Bank Holiday weekend in this beautiful area of North Cornwall. It features music, song, dance, and storytelling, and there is a small programme of children’s events. The festival welcomes numerous talented guest performers, many internationally known, who give concerts and appear in other events throughout.
