Bird of Prey Talk and Otter Feeding, Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre

The Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre is just a short drive from the Whalesborough site, and it is well worth making the trip! On your visit to the 21-acre site you will see British & Asian Short Clawed Otters play, eat and sleep in their enclosures. Enter the “Wildwood” and you will see Wallabies, Meerkats, Servals, Polecats and various Birds of Prey. The Bird of Prey talks are at 11.30 & 2.30, whilst the Otter talk and feeding is 12pm and 3pm. John Curnow & Disco InKernow, The Falcon Hotel

Don’t miss out on live music from Josh Curnow, supported by Disco InKernow. Josh Curnow has been recognised as a big contender in the music industry for 2018, thanks to his appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, where he narrowly missed out on the final. Having already had air time and songs played on BBC Radio 2 / Radio 1, Josh is very used to being in the limelight, but being a captivating singer-songwriter with a drive to never be contempt, an artist with a sharp look but with a very humble attitude, Josh has his sights set high. Bude & Stratton Folk Festival

Bude and Stratton Folk Festival is a friendly mix of folk events held annually on the late May Bank Holiday weekend in this beautiful area of North Cornwall.  It features music, song, dance, and storytelling, and there is a small programme of children’s events. The festival welcomes numerous talented guest performers, many internationally known, who give concerts and appear in other events throughout. HellsBells are one of Britain’s leading AC/DC tribute bands, playing sell-out shows all over the UK and Europe. The Arundell Art Week, Arundell Arms

From Thursday 3rd May, a selection of acclaimed sporting artists from around the U.K. will be showcasing their country sporting inspired pieces, local Devon landscapes and stunning photography at the famous Arundell Arms Hotel in Lifton, Devon. The Arundell Arms partners with renowned sporting artists for the inaugural ‘Arundell Art Week’.
