OUR LOCATION

Nestled in more than 400 acres of gorgeous Cornish countryside, our cottages have the added bonus of being close to the North coast beaches at Widemouth Bay and Bude. The sea pool, rated as the best in the UK by The Times, is a must try during your stay.

Sustainable at heart

Whalesborough is set in a stunning part of the country and we’re fully committed to making sure that this incredible place is every bit as special tomorrow as it is today. We’re currently on a journey to becoming fully sustainable and self sufficient for our energy needs by the end of 2025. To do that, we’ve reviewed every part of our resort to find where we can make things greener, more sustainable and eco-friendly.

Making our seas cleaner

We’re pretty blessed to have a whole load of incredible beaches and coastline nearby and we want it to stay that way. That’s why we became the first holiday-resort in the UK to install Cleaner-Seas-microplastic-filters on all our cottages’ washing-machines. These prevent billions of micro-fibres from entering the sea each year and doing damage to wildlife, water quality and biodiversity.

Whalesborough is just minutes from the gorgeous North coast of Cornwall.
We're stopping 700,000 micro-fibres entering the sea every wash.
These microfibres are harvested and recycled into future products.
We also use Ocean Saver’s plant-based power cleaning ecodrop and plastic free cleaning products.

“Our stay at the cottages was absolutely amazing. Everything was immaculate, the grounds were wonderfully kept and the setting is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff we encountered on site were friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. We had a tour of the farm carried out by Dan and his sheep dog Annie, where we were able to feed the ducks, goats and alpacas on the site.”

“Excellent weeks break with lovely weather in 5 star accommodation. Excellent cottage (Sandparks) and pool area. Location great for walks to beach and the doggy spa was useful for sandy paw washing. Will book again and hard to beat. Helpful staff and very clean well kitted out cottage. Local walks superb and easy to get into Bude on foot. Will be returning with the family next year.”
