Bringing the Dogs

Looking to holiday with your pooch? Whalesborough is the perfect dog friendly destination! Our cottages are set up to welcome your family pet and we are in the very best location to explore with the hound from dog friendly beaches to miles and miles of spectacular countryside.  That’s after you’ve exhausted our 500 acres of course!

500 acres to explore

Staying onsite? There’s plenty for you and the dog to discover right outside your Whalesborough front door.

Five reasons to stay at Whalesborough this September
Fenced private Gardens

Our dog friendly cottages all have a pooch proof fenced in garden so you can give them a little outside freedom.

Pooch pack

We provide luxury Pooch Packs on arrival full of treats and the essentials your pup might need during their holiday.

Dog Shower

Rinse off that Westcountry mud after a long walk in the countryside or soak sandy paws in our dedicated dog showers.

Soft Furnishings

Everyone gets the very best here at Whalesborough-we provide throws for the sofa and cosy bedding for your pooch.

Dog Sitting

If you need a little time away from your four legged friend, our friends at Coastal Canines can dog sit.

EV Charging

If you’ll be driving to us in an EV, we have four super-fast charging points onsite. There is a fee for charging, which is handled through a very easy-to-use app.

Getting Around

Not wanting to carry your bags to the beach? Fancy exploring even more of the local area and Whalesborough? Hire one of our golf buggies for a half or full day!

Explore with your dog

There are more dog friendly beaches in North Cornwall than anywhere else in the South West. There are some spectacular walks to do; head south towards Millook, Dizzard, Crackington Haven and Boscastle or North to Bude and the dramatic cliffs of Morwenstow and beyond.

If you fancy somewhere a bit more in-land, Bodmin Moor is only 20 minutes drive away.

Bay View Inn

Dog friendly Bay View Inn is a great spot to enjoy a cold drink and watch the sun go down with the whole family.

Black Rock

Black Rock Beach sits on the south side of Widemouth Bay. You and your dog will love exploring the vast sandy stretch.
