Swimming Pools
At Whalesborough we offer indoor and outdoor swimming pools, both of which boast various features that will keep your little ones safe and entertained, whilst helping you relax and unwind. Our heated indoor pool features a children’s area, swim-in spa, and rainbow lighting!
Our heated indoor pool is designed for pure relaxation.
Directly connected to our spa, the pool provides a tranquil environment, heated to a soothing 29–30 degrees. Whether you prefer gentle swimming or simply unwinding in the water, it’s the perfect place to pause, refresh, and restore in peaceful surroundings.
Our outdoor pool is heated to 26°C and measures 17m x 8m. With a depth ranging from 1m -1.5m, it’s southerly aspect makes it a real sun trap to swim or sunbathe. A changing room, shower and toilet are also available. *Outdoor Pool available throughout summer.
Your cottage will be set in acres and acres of gorgeous green countryside. If you head a little further, you’ll find the stunning North Cornish coastline. To make sure that both are as glorious tomorrow as they are today, we’re striving to be as sustainable as we can be. From keeping microplastics from entering the sea, to becoming energy self-sufficient by the end of 2025, your holiday with us will be a green one.
Our commitment to leaving the earth a little better of course starts in each of our beautiful cottages. We’re really proud to have been the first holiday resort in the UK to install Cleaner Seas microplastic filters on all cottage washing machines to reduce the waste going into the Cornish sea. Not to mention our district heating system and wind turbine reducing our carbon footprint whilst heating and powering Whalesborough.
