From babies and toddlers to older children and teenagers, there’s so much to see and experience that by bedtime they’ll be sleeping soundly after a jam-packed day of fun. To make your holiday as memorable as possible, make sure you don’t miss out on these top activities…
Run wild in the big play barn
We’ve a huge indoor play barn for older children with a pool table, air hockey, table football, table tennis, darts and much more. There’s also a badminton court, a basketball hoop and an AstroTurf football pitch so children can play together until the sun goes down. This is great for drawing kids away from their iPads and encourages them to exercise and make new friends. Furthermore, it can be used all year round, even when the Cornish weather isn’t on your side!
Meet the furry residents
For younger children we have a lovely Pets Corner which has chickens, ducks, pygmy goats and pigs. Their faces light up when they get the opportunity to help us collect the eggs and feed the animals and we’re sure it makes for lasting memories!

If your children are a little older, why not take the Segway’s out as a family? With 500 acres to explore, it’s a really fun activity and a great way to see everything that Whalesborough has to offer. There’s no need to be nervous as Segway’s are designed to use self-balancing technology, which means they’re extremely easy and safe to use. We can’t promise the kids won’t want one of their own though!
Make a splash!
We have two swimming pools which your children will spend hours enjoying. One is a heated indoor pool and the other is outdoors in the sun. The indoor pool is heated to 30°c and has a children’s area at one end, perfect for babies getting their first taste of water. At the other end of the pool is a swim-in-spa which delivers a number of volcanoes and jets that the bigger kids love!
Educational fun
Last but most definitely not least is our interactive Wildlife Centre, which is inside The Weir building. The walls are covered in brightly coloured and informative picture boards that contain a wealth of information on local wildlife, their habitats and behaviour. There’s lots of fun games for children to play on, along with visiting falconry and sheepdog displays throughout the Summer season.
