Coastal Walks and Wildlife Watching

If you prefer to be engulfed by the serenity of nature you won’t be disappointed. There are plenty of opportunities to embark on an immersive journey of discovery along North Cornwall’s rugged coastline, where towering cliffs and secluded coves beckon adventurers and nature enthusiasts alike. Bude Farmer’s and Craft Market

Dates: Every Friday, 10am – 3pm, through to the end of September.

Easiglide Bude Segway Experience 

Looking for a unique and thrilling way to explore the picturesque coastal town of Bude? The Easiglide Bude Segway Experience will be just what you are looking for. Suitable for children (7+) all the way up to grandparents, this experience offers awesome fun for the whole family. You’ll be accompanied by an instructor who will show you the ropes and lead you on a Segway session lasting anywhere between 45 minutes – 1 hour. Northcott Mouth

This hidden gem is nestled along the rugged coastline of North Cornwall, just over 10 minutes from Bude. This picturesque beach is renowned for its natural beauty, unspoiled surroundings, and sense of tranquillity, making it a favourite destination for locals and visitors alike. What’s more, this beach is dog-friendly all year round! All you are asked is to keep dogs under control, particularly around grazing livestock and cliff edges. The car park is open from dawn until dusk, giving you plenty of time to explore. Looking for a place to eat? The Rustic Tea Garden is just a short stroll away and is a fantastic spot for cake, tea, coffee, ice cream, and more. 

Black Rock Beach 

Dogs are welcomed all year round at this stunning beach located on the southern edge of Widemouth Bay. Enjoy hours of family fun with plenty of relaxation and adventure on offer. Soak up the sun, build sandcastles, stroll along the shoreline, explore the treasures lurking in the many rockpools during low tide, or go for a surf! This beach has many useful facilities such as toilets, a large car park, seasonal RNLI Lifeguards (daily from 18th May – 29th September, 10am – 6pm) and a beach café.
