As summer draws to a close it’s fast becoming the perfect time to take a trip to Cornwall and the pretty coastal town of Bude. Prices are down, the kids have returned to school, and the prospect of an Indian Summer and quieter beaches is on the horizon.

Have you ticked everything off that packing list? Got enough snacks to keep the kids happy? Remembered your swimmers? Do you need to grab supplies on the way? Fill up the car? Sort out the dog?

As well as a wide range of dog-friendly features onsite to help your pooch settle in, we’re lucky to be surrounded by so many stunning locations to explore with your dog. Right on our doorstep are expansive beaches, rolling countryside, wild moorland, winding coastal paths, and much more to discover.

After the summer crowds disperse and the kids go back to school, Cornwall quickly transforms into an autumn wonderland of stunning scenery, ruby red sunsets, and breath-taking coastlines! To add to this, more than seventy beaches lift their dog restrictions through the autumn months, giving pooches even more golden sand and whitewash to run wild in.

Yes the school holidays may be over and autumn’s looming but don’t despair! In our land of *almost* endless Summer, there’s still a whole lot of fun to be had through September and beyond. In fact, Autumn might just be our very favourite time to experience the beauty of North Cornwall, let us tell you why!
