Recent Reviews:
“We had the most amazing weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday at in Trevelyan, and I can honestly say that we all had the very best time. The houses were beautiful and equipped to such a high standard, the facilities were excellent, especially the indoor pool and the games room. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Paul the maintenance man where nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks for making it such a special weekend!”

“The entire place is lovely, with exceptionally well-designed and maintained cottages, a great health club and spa, and plenty of activities for children and dogs. There’s so much to do in the cottages and in the wider area. When the weather is good, the outdoor pool is fantastic, the massages at the spa are wonderful too. For runners, the new all-weather trail gives you even more options for routes around the area. Thanks again to the Whalesborough team for another great stay!”

Your cottage will be set in acres and acres of gorgeous green countryside. If you head a little further, you’ll find the stunning North Cornish coastline. To make sure that both are as glorious tomorrow as they are today, we’re striving to be as sustainable as we can be. From keeping microplastics from entering the sea, to becoming energy self-sufficient by the end of 2025, your holiday with us will be a green one.
Cornwall has some of the UK’s most fantastic produce so it’s no surprise that 90% of the food and drink you’ll find at The Weir comes from right here on our doorstep (including from our very own land). Not only does it guarantee you a delicious dinner, it helps us keep our food miles low and to reduce our carbon footprint.
- We grow our very own organic veggies in our farm market garden
- Our delicious welcome hampers use produce grown and raised on site
- We plan for the whole site to be fully energy self-sufficient by 2025
- Our farm to fork philosophy means food miles are kept low
