The Kitchen and Living Area

Downstairs it has one of the largest living and dining areas of all the barn conversions, with one large corner sofa and a smaller two seater sofa for added comfort. The large open plan living includes dining table with 6 chairs. The fully fitted kitchen with exposed beams also has a small breakfast table and bar stools, with a door that leads out into the enclosed west facing garden with patio and grass area. Here can be found garden furniture and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining.

The Bedrooms

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one king size with separate family bathroom and a twin with ensuite shower room which has lovely countryside views. The 2 bedrooms have interconnecting doors, ideal for families with young children. Bedrooms benefit from exposed beams and solid oak doors. Underfloor heating throughout with a contempory wood burner for added heating during the colder months.

EV CHARGING

If you’ll be driving to us in an EV, we have four super-fast charging points onsite. There is a fee for charging, which is handled through a very easy-to-use app.

“Whaleborough was spotlessly clean and warm, and offered amazingly dog friendly covers for the sofas, as well as treats and a small secure garden. We stayed at Middle Hill and loved it, it has a large lounge with a great kitchen. Plenty of good walks down to the beach and Coastal path where a dog friendly pub awaits. Facilities on site included a great pool, and spa treatment included in the price, we will definitely return!”

Amazing amount of room in the open plan living area, stunning kitchen and bathrooms, and quality bedrooms. We enjoyed the wood burning stove, even though we could have used the under-floor central heating. A really nice touch was the lemon cake on arrival.”

As well as all the work we’re putting into steering Whalesborough towards carbon neutrality, we’re creating the environment for you to join us on the journey! All our welcome packs are filled with the same Ocean Saver cleaning products we use here on site, all of our cottages have access to EV charging points and we’ve created a series of walking paths across our 450 acres making it possible to walk all the way into Bude on car free routes.
