Woodyplatt is a double storey Barn Conversion which has been awarded 5 star gold from Visit Britain. Originally the milking parlour, it has now been converted into luxury, contemporary accommodation.

Key information:

The Kitchen

The kitchen is gloss cream with dark granite worktops and the living area has 2 large sofas and chairs for added comfort. There is also a downstairs toilet.

The Living Area

Downstairs there is a large open plan living and dining area with splendid countryside views down the valley.

The Bedrooms

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. A Master King with ensuite bathroom and a twin with ensuite shower room, both with exposed beams and lovely views. Solid oak doors throughout, underfloor heating and cosy wood burner.

The Garden

There are French doors leading out on to the enclosed, west facing, garden and patio area, with garden furniture and BBQ.

EV CHARGING

If you’ll be driving to us in an EV, we have four super-fast charging points onsite. There is a fee for charging, which is handled through a very easy-to-use app.

“Woody Platt was immaculate and a lot bigger than we expected. The outdoor pool was fantastic and the games barn was a real hit with us all. We fed the animals and went on a tractor ride which was enormous fun. I would highly recommend staying here, it’s so peaceful and the views are amazing.”

As well as all the work we’re putting into steering Whalesborough towards carbon neutrality, we’re creating the environment for you to join us on the journey! All our welcome packs are filled with the same Ocean Saver cleaning products we use here on site, all of our cottages have access to EV charging points and we’ve created a series of walking paths across our 450 acres making it possible to walk all the way into Bude on car free routes.
