Whalesborough Farm Resort & Spa is a privately owned 428-acre working farm on the Atlantic coast of North Cornwall, set above the cliffs between Bude and Widemouth Bay. It's been farmed for generations — the landscape, the hedgerows, the stone walls — and that working history is woven into everything we do.
Today the estate is home to 26 VisitEngland 5-Star self-catering cottages, 22 Arvor Suite self-catering suites, The W Club Spa, The Weir Restaurant, and an organic market garden that supplies the kitchen. All within one privately held Cornish estate — no neighbours, no traffic, no interruptions.
Every element of the resort has been built around a single principle: that the landscape is the luxury. The Atlantic cliff path runs through the estate. The farm animals are the activities. The valley with its two lakes is the spa backdrop. Cornwall is not a backdrop here — it's the whole point.

Whalesborough has been farmed for generations. The farm still works — the cattle graze, the garden still grows, the hedgerows are managed. The resort has been built around the land, not in spite of it.
Privacy as standard
One estate, one resort. There's no public road through the property, no passing trade, no strangers in the courtyard. When you're here, it's yours — whether you've taken one cottage or the whole farm.
No hidden extras
Spa access is included for cottage guests. Dogs stay free. The price you see is the price you pay. We'd rather earn your loyalty than win your booking with a misleading headline rate.
Cornish at heart
The food on the menu comes from here or near here. The building materials came from the estate. The paths follow ancient field boundaries. We're not a branded resort dropped into Cornwall — we are Cornish.
