The W Club Spa is the heart of the Whalesborough wellness experience. A beautiful indoor pool maintained at 29–30°C and UV treated. A Swedish sauna and an aroma steam room. Treatment rooms where Cornish-made Gaia skincare is used exclusively.
Spa access is included with all cottage stays. Treatments are bookable separately and can be arranged before or during your stay. Spa days are available for visitors too.
Outside, a 17m outdoor pool opens through the summer months — perfect for an early morning swim overlooking the Cornish countryside.

428 acres is its own kind of therapy
Walking through ancient woodland, breathing sea air on the coastal path, watching the sun go down over the Atlantic — the Whalesborough estate offers a form of restoration that no treatment room can replicate. It simply works alongside it.
Estate trails lead through woodland, hedgerows and wildflower meadows, along the Bude Canal towpath and all the way to Widemouth Bay on the coast. Seasonal early morning circuits run on Wednesdays at 7am, first come, first served. Or simply sit, read, and watch North Cornwall do what it does best.

Maintained at 29–30°C, UV treated. Open year-round. A calming environment for slow lengths or simply floating.
Swedish Sauna
Traditional dry heat sauna. Promotes circulation, eases muscle tension and provides a genuine sense of deep relaxation.
Aroma Steam Room
Warm aromatic steam with therapeutic botanical blends. Ideal for respiratory wellness and skin hydration.
Spa Treatments
Hot stone massage, jade facial, couples massage and more — all using Gaia, Cornwall's finest natural skincare range. Bookable separately.
Outdoor Pool
17m × 8m, depth 1–1.5m. Open in summer. Fresh air swimming with Cornish countryside views.
Gym
Air-conditioned fitness suite with Technogym equipment and free weights. Seasonal Wednesday 7am circuit sessions (£5pp), first come, first served.
Nourishment
Grown and reared close to home
The Weir Restaurant sources much of its produce from the estate and the surrounding area — genuinely local, genuinely seasonal. The organic market garden supplies the kitchen directly.
Eating well is part of the wellness equation. At Whalesborough, it simply happens naturally.
