The lodge

Trelowen is Whalesborough’s newest lodge development, bringing laid-back luxury to the heart of the estate. The open-plan layout is designed to bring the outside in: full-height windows frame the countryside on every side, and the living, dining and kitchen spaces flow into one another and out onto the deck, where a private hot tub and an al fresco dining space wait. Three bedrooms sleep six, including a built-in bunk room the younger ones will fight over, each finished with plush beds, calming décor and quality linens.

Ownership

Trelowen lodges are sold turnkey and fully furnished, so there is nothing to fit out and nothing to wait for. They are leisure properties rather than residential dwellings, which means no council tax and the residential second-home stamp duty surcharge does not apply in the same way; always confirm your own position with your adviser. Owners have complimentary W Club spa and gym membership and the run of the estate, with optional managed letting through the Whalesborough team if you would like the lodge to earn for you when you are not here.

The estate on your doorstep

Owners have the run of the estate: the indoor pool, gym and spa, the seasonal outdoor pool and tennis courts, and The Weir café and bistro for daytime and evening food.
