Whalesborough's only one-bedroom cottage, Barley Park was converted from the old farm feed mill into a Five Star Gold couples retreat that feels genuinely private. Very spacious and wholly contemporary, it was designed with just two people in mind — and every detail reflects that focus.
The super king bed sits beneath a canopy, creating a centrepiece that makes the bedroom feel like a suite in its own right. The corner Jacuzzi bath and separate shower in the ensuite give you options — unwind or invigorate, your call. In the living area, two large sofas face a contemporary wood burner, while the kitchen/diner rounds out a perfectly self-contained space for a proper break.

Yes. Barley Park welcomes up to 2 dogs at no extra charge. A luxury pooch welcome pack is provided on arrival, and the resort has a heated dog wash and 428 acres of walking trails.

Every stay at Barley Park includes complimentary access to The W Club Spa (indoor pool 29–30°C, seasonal outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, Technogym fitness suite), the 428-acre estate and walking trails, parking, Wi-Fi, all bed linen and towels, and a welcome pack.
