The Facilities
Every room for relaxation.

The Indoor Pool.
Our indoor infinity pool is held at a constant 29–30°C — warm enough to melt the journey away, comfortable enough to swim lengths in. In keeping with our natural ethos, the pool is treated with UV light rather than heavy chlorine.
A dedicated children's pool sits alongside the main pool, ensuring even the youngest guests have their own safe, joyful space to splash and discover.
Complimentary access for all cottage guests · Rainbow lighting feature · Swim-in spa area

The Outdoor Pool.
Measuring 17 metres by 8 metres, our outdoor pool has a southerly aspect that makes it one of the finest sun traps in North Cornwall. Depth ranges from 1 to 1.5 metres.
Changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities are available poolside. The outdoor pool is open throughout the summer months.

Sauna & Steam.
Our traditional Swedish sauna works with the deep, dry heat that has been the foundation of Scandinavian wellness for centuries. Tensions fade, muscles relax, the body detoxifies, and cardiovascular performance improves.
Alongside the sauna, our aroma steam room uses aromatic botanicals to create a deeply immersive and therapeutic experience — the perfect complement to a morning of swimming or an afternoon of treatment.

The Fitness Suite.
Our air-conditioned fitness suite runs a full line of biomechanically precise Technogym machines — the same equipment used by elite athletes and five-star resorts worldwide.
Alongside the machines, a traditional strength-training and free weights area caters to every training approach. And for those who prefer to take their workout outdoors, seasonal Wednesday morning circuits at 7am (£5 per person, first come, first served) offer something more energising still.

From the Land
The estate is in every treatment.
Gaia Natural Skincare is rooted in the same wild Cornish coast that surrounds Whalesborough. The botanicals in your treatment — sea kelp, wild rose, sea buckthorn — grow in the same landscape you can walk through from your cottage door.
Sea Kelp
Harvested from the North Cornwall coast
Dense in minerals, amino acids, and iodine. Deeply hydrating and gently detoxifying. The marine backbone of our signature facial and massage blends.
Wild Rose
Cornish hedgerows — including ours
Cold-pressed rosehip oil, rich in Vitamin C and essential fatty acids. Regenerative and visibly brightening. A cornerstone of the Gaia facial range.
Sea Buckthorn
Atlantic coastal dunes
One of nature's most complete plant oils. Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and deeply nourishing. Used in our hot stone and prenatal treatments.
Lavender & Chamomile
Grown in Cornish organic gardens
The calming pair. Together they reduce inflammation, ease the nervous system, and encourage deep rest. Present in every massage blend we use.
