A Five Star Gold semi-detached cottage graded by Visit Britain, Sand Parks was converted from one of the original Whalesborough farm workshops. The exposed beams and low windows that characterise barn conversions are present throughout, lending the open-plan interior an honest, grounded quality that no new build can replicate.
The kitchen/dining/lounge flows out to the fully enclosed garden, which has direct access to communal grass areas with views toward the Bude Canal — a view that earns its keep on sunny evenings. Underfloor heating and tiled downstairs floors make it as comfortable in cooler months as it is in summer.
